CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
At CrossFit Ballito, we offer an exciting blend of fitness programs designed to cater to diverse training needs and goals.
CROSSFIT
Our CrossFit classes emphasise functional movements that are scalable for all fitness levels. With a focus on technique, our experienced coaches guide members through high-intensity workouts that promote strength, endurance, and overall fitness. Each class fosters a supportive environment, allowing participants to push their limits while receiving encouragement from both coaches and fellow members.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Awesomeness! CrossFit classes are 60 minutes in duration and will generally include a warm up, strength or skill component, a metcon (sweaty workout) and a cool down. Each day is different and all weights, movements and intensities are completely scalable depending on your individual capabilities. There will be a certified coach guiding you through the entire class. As an athlete, you can choose (with the guidance of a coach) to follow either the beginner, intermediate or elite programming during the classes.
HIIT
HIIT stands for Hight Intensity Interval Training. This is a 30 minute class. It includes a short, sweaty warm up followed by a 12-15 minute workout with short bursts of work followed by rest. HIIT is an efficient way of getting in an effective workout.
WHAT TO EXPECT
30 minutes of fast paced cardio, with a bit of rest. HIIT includes basic body weight movements and often incorporates kettlebells, dumbbells, boxes and slam balls. These movements are a lot less technical than those seen in CrossFit as we want to see SPEED!
HYROX
Join our HYROX sessions for a unique fusion of functional training and endurance racing. This program combines various workout stations, including running, rowing, and strength exercises, to create a comprehensive fitness challenge. It’s designed for everyone, whether you’re training for competition or looking to elevate your fitness level in a dynamic and motivating atmosphere

OPEN GYM
We currently only offer open gym times on Saturday mornings from 7-9am to our members.
PERSONAL TRAINING
PT is specific one-on-one training where your coach will design sessions based on your personal goals.
